One day, as Pockets was strolling through the forest, he stumbled upon something unusual. It was a giant, red number ‘1’ standing tall like a tree! And next to it was the happiest little dinosaur Pockets had ever seen.
“Wow! A giant number ‘1’ and… a dinosaur? This must be a magical place! I wonder what’s going on here.”
The dinosaur, with its long neck and friendly smile, waved its tiny arm and spoke.
“Hi there! I’m Dippy the Dino. This is the Forest of Numbers, and each number holds a special adventure! Do you want to join me on today’s adventure with the number ‘1’?”
Pockets grinned from ear to ear. He loved adventures, especially magical ones! So, he decided to follow Dippy. As they walked, Dippy explained how the number ‘1’ was all about being brave and believing in yourself, even when you are on your own.
“But what if I get scared or lost?”
Sometimes, we all feel scared, Pockets. But being brave means trying, even when things feel tough. And remember, you’re never really alone—you’ve got friends like me and your own bravery inside you!”
Pockets felt a warm glow of confidence as they continued. Suddenly, they reached a big, wobbly bridge hanging over a sparkling river. The bridge had only one rope, and it swayed in the breeze.
“Oh no, Dippy! This bridge looks scary. What if I can’t make it across?”
“Remember, Pockets, you only need to take one step at a time. The number ‘1’ is all about trying and believing in yourself, even when it’s just you.”
Pockets took a deep breath. Step by step, he crossed the bridge, feeling braver with every move. When he finally reached the other side, he looked back and couldn’t believe how far he had come.
“I did it, Dippy! I crossed the bridge all by myself!”
“See, Pockets? You believed in yourself, and you did it! Remember, you are stronger and braver than you think.”
Pockets beamed with pride. He had learned an important lesson—sometimes, even when you’re on your own, all it takes is one brave step to do something amazing. As the sun began to set, Pockets and Dippy waved goodbye, knowing that the next adventure was just around the corner.
“Thanks, Dippy! I’ll always remember to take one brave step at a time.”
“And don’t forget Pockets, I’ll be here whenever you need a friend. The Forest of Numbers always welcomes brave explorers like you!”
