One quiet night not even the Owl made a hoots sound not even the crickets echoing in the air. There stood a young lady named Lisa by the wishing well making a wish. She started crying saying not again. She got up a ran to the woods. Then she ran into Pockets. And it was dark outside. Pockets ask what is your name and why are you crying? My name is Lisa. She said every time I would go up to the wishing well to make my wish. I always forget my coin to drop in the well so that my wish would come true. Pockets pulled out a coin to give to Lisa. She was so thankful and ran off and forgot to say thank you to Pockets for the coin.
Once she got to the well. Then she remembered that she didn’t say thank you to Pockets for the coin. She was hoping to see Pockets again to say thank you to him for giving her the coin so she could go to the wishing well. One day, Lisa was going to the store and she saw Pockets quickly she ran up to him. Pockets! Pockets!
I just wanted to say thank you for the other day for letting me have a coin to put in the wishing well.
Pockets smiled and said, you are welcome. He said you have already said thank you by the sparkles you had in your eyes that day. So how did you make out on your wish? She said, that she is still waiting for it to come true. Pockets said to Lisa. Let me tell you a little story that my father shared with me. It’s not about the wishing well or the coin that makes a dream come true. It’s about what’s in the desires of your heart.
So if you believe with all of your heart. Your wish will true. Lisa smiled back at Pockets and said, I wish that I had a friend like you. Pockets said, well your wish just came true.
The End.
