Pockets and the Train That Wasn’t Meant to Be
One sunny morning, Pockets woke up extra early. Today was a very important day – he had his first job at Mr. Tinker’s Toy Workshop! Pockets packed his bright blue backpack, straightened his pink bowtie, and ran to the train station.
But just as he reached the platform, he saw the train whistle blow and the doors closing. “Oh no!” Pockets shouted, sprinting with all his might. But it was too late – the train pulled away without him.
Pockets slumped onto a bench, feeling his stomach twist. “I can’t believe it,” he muttered. “I’m going to be late for my first day! What a disaster!”
