Pockets Teaches Behavior To The Kids

Hi, my name is Pockets! My mission is to help and teach kids the good value of life. I have a lot of pockets, even on my hat. Sometimes I forget to do something, and I write them down and put them in one of my pockets. Then I will forget what pocket I put the note in. So, I add another pocket to my clothes, but in a different color so that will help me to remember that I put it in that color pocket.

Pockets and the Golden Seat

One bright morning, Pockets set off on another adventure. This time, he had a new map—one that led to a hidden treasure deep within the bustling city of Everdale. The map whispered of a Golden Seat, a magical chair that only the kindest and most well-mannered person could find.

As he stepped onto the city's grand trolley, packed with travelers, he clutched his map tightly. He had no idea that the first challenge was about to begin…

The First Challenge: The Crowded Trolley
The trolley was filled with people—businessmen with briefcases, schoolchildren chatting excitedly, and elders leaning on their canes. Pockets squeezed onto a small seat near the window, eager to watch the city rush by.

Just as the trolley began to move, an elderly woman stepped in. She clutched her walking stick and looked around, searching for a place to sit.

Suddenly, a warm glow appeared on Pockets' map, and words shimmered across the page:

"The path to the Golden Seat begins with a choice. What will you do?"

Pockets immediately stood up and smiled. "Here, ma’am! You can take my seat."

The elderly woman’s face lit up. "Oh, thank you, young man! That’s very kind of you." She sat down with a sigh of relief.

As soon as she did, Pockets' map shimmered again, and a golden arrow appeared, pointing him toward the next step of his adventure. A voice whispered in the air, "Kindness opens doors to great treasures. Keep going, young traveler!"

Pockets grinned, knowing he had made the right choice.

Pockets looked away, pretending he didn’t see the elderly woman. He stared out the window, hoping someone else would offer their seat instead.

The map in his hand suddenly darkened, and the golden arrow vanished. A deep voice rumbled, "Ignoring those in need dims the light of kindness. The treasure fades further away."

Pockets felt a pang of guilt. Maybe he should have helped her? But before he could change his mind, another traveler stood up and offered their seat. The elderly woman smiled at them, and Pockets watched, realizing he had missed an opportunity to do something good.

With a sigh, he knew he had learned a lesson: kindness should never be ignored.

Pockets hesitated. Maybe someone else would give up their seat? He glanced around, waiting to see what would happen.

A few moments later, a kind woman stood up and offered her seat to the elderly lady. The woman smiled at Pockets and said, "It's always good to help when we can."

Pockets' map flickered uncertainly. The voice whispered, "Waiting for others to do the right thing means missing the chance to do it yourself. Will you lead with kindness next time?"

Pockets nodded, realizing that next time, he wouldn’t wait—he would act.

After getting off the trolley, Pockets followed his glowing map through the city streets. It led him to a small marketplace, where an old merchant stood beside a cart filled with golden trinkets.

"Ah, young traveler," the merchant said with a knowing smile. "You are on the path to the Golden Seat. But before you go further, tell me this: Why is it important to give up your seat to someone in need?"

Pockets thought carefully. "Because it’s polite, and it makes others feel comfortable. Everyone deserves kindness."

The merchant beamed. "Ah, you are wise! True kindness comes from the heart, not from wanting to look good." He handed Pockets a golden key. "Use this when you reach the end of your journey."

The map glowed brighter, guiding him forward.

Pockets shrugged. "Because if I don’t, people might think I’m rude."

The merchant shook his head. "Kindness isn’t about what others think—it’s about what’s in your heart."

The golden trinkets on his cart faded, and the map flickered uncertainly. "The Golden Seat will not appear to those who act only for show," the merchant warned. "Think about why kindness truly matters."

Pockets crossed his arms. "It’s not that important. Whoever gets a seat first should keep it."

The merchant sighed, his eyes filled with disappointment. "A seat is just a seat, but an act of kindness is a treasure beyond gold. You are not yet ready for the Golden Seat."

The map in Pockets' hands dimmed, and the golden path disappeared. He knew he had made the wrong choice.

Following the glowing map, Pockets reached a grand hall with a shining throne at its center—the legendary Golden Seat!

But standing in front of it was a young girl, looking tired from her journey. The voice of the map whispered one final challenge:

"True treasure lies not in what we gain, but in what we give.

What will you do?

Pockets smiled and stepped back. "You look tired. You should sit first."

The girl’s eyes widened. "Really? Thank you!"

As soon as she sat down, the Golden Seat shimmered, and suddenly, two more seats appeared—one for her, and one for Pockets! A warm voice echoed, "Kindness is the greatest treasure of all."

Pockets beamed, knowing he had found the real treasure—not gold, but the joy of helping others.

Pockets ran forward and plopped down on the Golden Seat. He expected something magical to happen—but instead, the chair vanished beneath him!

A voice sighed, "Greed cannot hold the weight of kindness." The treasure was gone.

Pockets realized he had made a mistake. Maybe the real treasure wasn’t about claiming the seat for himself…

Pockets looked at the girl and smiled. "How about we share it?"

As soon as they sat together, the Golden Seat grew even bigger, glowing with warmth. The voice laughed happily, "A shared kindness is a kindness doubled!"

Pockets had learned the most important lesson of all—giving to others was the greatest treasure he could ever find.

And so, Pockets returned home, not with gold or jewels, but with something far more valuable—a heart full of kindness and a lesson he would carry forever.

The End.
