Pockets Teaches Behavior To The Kids

Hi, my name is Pockets! My mission is to help and teach kids the good value of life. I have a lot of pockets, even on my hat. Sometimes I forget to do something, and I write them down and put them in one of my pockets. Then I will forget what pocket I put the note in. So, I add another pocket to my clothes, but in a different color so that will help me to remember that I put it in that color pocket.

Pockets Stories

Pockets was reading a book

Read to me Pockets story:

Pockets was reading a book underneath a tree, where the shade shielded him from the midday sun while letting in just enough light for reading. The book contained stories with lessons and morals, and Pockets loved how each tale taught him something new.

Pockets was engrossed in a story about sharing and kindness on this particular day. As he read, he could vividly imagine the characters and their world. It was the story of a rich man who went jogging one morning and forgot his wallet. He planned to buy a water bottle on his way back, but he was stuck, panting and thirsty on a hot day without his wallet.

A young boy named Travis noticed the jogger struggling and quickly offered him a bottle of water, which he bought with his own money. The rich man was so grateful that he invited Travis to his sporting goods store, where he gave him a brand-new bicycle as a reward for his kindness.

Pockets smiled as he finished the story. He thought about how simple it was for Travis to help someone in need and how he was rewarded not just with a bike, but with the joy of doing something good.

He closed the book and looked around the park. Families were playing, dogs were chasing frisbees, and people were enjoying the day. Pockets felt inspired to find a way to help someone, just like Travis did.

As he was about to leave, he noticed a little girl sitting alone on a bench, crying softly. She looked lost. Pockets approached her gently and asked, “Are you okay? Do you need help?”

The girl wiped her tears and said, “I can’t find my mom.”

Pockets knew he had to act fast to comfort her. He sat down beside her and said, “Don’t worry, I’m here to help. Let’s go to the park office, and we’ll find your mom together.” The girl, whose name was Lily, nodded and followed Pockets.

Along the way, Pockets talked to Lily about her favorite books and games to keep her calm. When they reached the park office, the staff quickly made an announcement about Lily’s location.

Within minutes, Lily’s mom rushed in, her eyes wide with relief. She hugged Lily tightly and thanked Pockets for his kindness. She offered him a small reward, but Pockets kindly refused, saying, “I’m just glad I could help. Helping others is its own reward.”

As Pockets walked back to his spot under the tree, he felt a warm glow inside. He’d learned from the story—and from his own experience with Lily—that even a small act of kindness could make a big difference. Like Travis, he didn’t need a reward for helping others. Knowing he had made someone’s day a little better was enough.

From that day on, Pockets made it a point to help others whenever he could. He realized that kindness had a way of spreading, making the world a better place one small good deed at a time.
